Question by : Will pilates alone help me lose weight?
Hi, I?m 19, 5?4? and about 30lbs overweight. I?m not a running person, but I do have a very healthy diet. Very low-carb, water only. Do you think pilates by itself can get me to lose this extra 30lbs? Because I?ve heard that if you build more muscle that alone will burn more calories per day. Or do I need to run?

You don?t need to run, you need to perform some form of cardio (there?s more to cardio than running).

Pilates is great, it will help you build muscle, stamina, and control, it will not however produce rapid fat loss
